A few words about me
Theres was born and raised in the South Carolina Lowcountry and loves a good Frogmore Stew. When she is not supporting clients, Theres enjoys hot tea on a cool morning, sitting in her vegetable garden, and spending time with her husband Marcus and their two children, Marlee and Evan.
What makes me so awesome?
Theres Boyd is an attorney, former accountant, and small business owner. As the founder and principal attorney of duti | Legal Advisory Firm, she helps small and emerging businesses leverage legal and accounting strategies to comply with rapidly changing laws and regulations, protect their assets, and preserve wealth.
Over the course of her career, Theres has helped clients with entity formation and valuation, contract drafting and negotiations, taxation, regulatory compliance, insurance, and privacy. She is also a member of the South Carolina Bar tax section and the American Academy of Attorney-CPAs.
Prior to law school, Theres worked as an accountant and financial analyst for various health care providers, general contractors, and other commercial and non-profit enterprises.
